Custom Orders

Savage Gems understands completely the desire to have a piece of jewelry that matches a favorite outfit, or one that shows a little piece of who we are to the world. The solution to this is to allow you, the customer, to customize your very own piece of jewelry. You supply the inspiration and we'll take care of the rest.

Custom Order Guidelines & Policies

** Custom orders are accepted on a first come, first serve basis **

Savage Gems will retain a copy of patterns and/or photographs of finished custom pieces for their personal reference portfolio only. These will not be shown or used in any advertising without express signed permission from the purchaser.

Pricing
Pricing will be determined based off of cost of materials and man hours specific to each project. Customers will receive a cost estimate from Savage Gems before any materials are ordered or work is begun. Our wish is to keep things as affordable as possible, however suppliers can change the prices we pay at any given moment. Material prices such as precious metal wire (gold & silver) , change daily according to the market, so we can't guarantee what the cost will be for extended periods of time.

If you have an estimate that is more than one month old, please check back with us for an updated one before finalizing your project.

Seed Bead Patterns
Custom patterns can be created upon request, and pricing will be based on the size of the end product and materials chosen. If the request is for a pattern only, price will be based on amount of time needed for creation. Purchasers in both instances will retain full ownership of their custom patterns.

Chain Maille
Customers can choose types of maille weaves used, wire, and any decorative elements for the piece. While we are happy to customize such pieces to the individual, known maille weaves cannot be restricted from use by other customers.

Wire Wrap
Each wire wrapped piece from Savage Gems is as unique as the element wrapped. Customers can choose wire type and a focal element from Savage Gems stock, or supply their own special item.
Techniques Savage Gems currently employs for wrapping fossil ammonites can be adjusted to meet customer needs, but we cannot restrict these from use by other customers.

Wacky Wires
Customers can choose wire type, accompanying decorative elements, size, and general layout of piece(s).

Beady Beads
Customers can choose bead specifics, arrangement of piece, clasp and other details. We can also work with and build around any elements the customer may wish to supply themselves.
